Allowing others to use programs

If you are using ZoneAlarm Pro with Web Filtering, you may want to prevent your children from changing your Web Filtering settings and other security settings, but still allow them to use new programs. To do this, select the checkbox labeled Allow others to use programs without a password (unless the program permission is set to "Block") in the Set Password dialog.

When this option is selected, others will be unable to change your Web Filtering and other settings without providing a password. However, they will be able to allow new programs, and programs whose permssions are set to "Ask", to access the Internet without providing a password. They will not be able to allow access for programs you have explicitly blocked.
